Below are in-process illustrations for my Seattle Grunge Boxset project; they are taking me a long time to do simply because I have not attempted to do such detailed illustrations with my drawing tablet before. The illustrations are portraits of grunge icons Eddie Vedder, Layne Staley, and (a very healthy looking) Kurt Cobain. Ideally, I would also like to complete Mark Arm and maybe one other musician so I can turn the portraits into an illustrated portrait collage. My illustrations are using extremely iconic photographs of each musician for reference, so please note that for any copyright and content ownership nuances.
