Standing Stone Graphics

To continue the discussions about design process, I wanted to share my flat-graphics I designed for the Standing Stone wine bottle redesign and packaging project; the flat graphics will be sent to a company in North Georgia called Color Comps, where image transfers will be created that will allow me to adhere my design to the cobalt blue glass bottle. Because the wine is a dessert wine that must be produced under chilly winter conditions, I wanted to theme my bottle around the concept of "chilled". The rough, thin sans-serif typeface heavily depicts this, as does the "standing stones" that not only resemble a snowman, but also conveys three separate stone characters huddling together. I've requested Color Comps create my image transfers with a silver pantone, which will reinforce the chilly attitude when paired with the cobalt blue bottle.
