Full Radius Brand - Communication Tools

To further the Full Radius rebrand, our team designed communication tools that reflect the principles established so far during logo development. I worked on the stationary letterhead for my group. There are a few significant design aspects to the letterhead.

Structurally, the letterhead is designed so that when folded into thirds, the top crease appears just below the letter's greeting, meaning upon opening the envelope, the only part of the letter exposed to the viewer is the logo, date, mailing address of recipient, and letter's greeting. This maximizes the privacy of the letter both if someone mistakenly opened the letter believing it was addressed to them, and also, it obscures letter content if in the envelope, an individual held the letter up to a light source to learn the contents of the letter without opening it.

Also, there are actually two identical letterheads with minor differences: one letterhead contains a full-bleed to the edge of the page for a more polished, professional look, while the second letterhead omits the full-bleeds to allow Full Radius to print the letterheads in a cost-effective manner off home-office printer since non-profits typically have limited funding. The letterhead with the full-bleed is intended to be sent to other professional dance studios or dancers for recruitment purposes for the annual Modern Atlanta Dance Festival hosted by Full Radius, or it may be sent to benefactors as a means to thank them for donations or request funding. The letterhead without bleeds would be for more informal recipients, such as schools, hospitals, or for general correspondence purposes.
